POETRY U: Eight master poet-educators teach their favorite eras/movements in the form and the poets who lead them. Attend at least seven of the eight classes and receive a POETRY U certificate. $20 for a single class, $100 for a season pass. Coffee included.

JB on JB (http://jenniferblowdryer.wordpress.com): "I’m a writer by nature, though the genres change by year and inspiration. In the past I’ve written a novel, a memoir, a dictionary, and an advice book. As a journalist I wrote a column for Maximum r’n'roll, New York Press, and Downtown. As a visionary I sang in a punk band as a teen, created Smut Fests when sex work was taboo, and am currently working on an 86ed documentary and writing and recording songs in NYC. I have a lot of seemingly random insights and observations, and am rather a newshound, surprisingly for my type."
