Neighborhood Sustainability: One Block At A Time is a conversation series presented by FABnyc, the Cooper Union Institute for Sustainable Design, and Bowery Arts and Science, focused on community-up environmental leadership and action.

Panelists include artists, practitioners, community advocates and stakeholders actively working towards creative, community-led sustainability initiatives. These discussions will put forth new strategies, questions, and best practices to transform our global need into local action.

This first event will focus on "The Role of Community-Based Leaders and Intermediaries." A dialogue between three community organizations: Anusha Venkataraman from El Puente, Kerri Culhane from Two Bridges, and Betsy Imershein from Fourth Arts Block, moderated by Cassim Shepard, editor of Urban Omnibus.
