REG E. GAINES is author of three books, "24/7/365", "Head Rhyme Lines", "The Original Buckwheat", and "2 B blk & wrt." on B.A.G. Lady Press. His poetry can be found in the anthologies "Word Up", "Aloud, Voices From The Nuyorican Poets Cafe", "The Outlaw Bible of American Poetry" and "Bum Rush The Page". In 1993, Reg appeared on MTV Spoken Word Unplugged, the Fightin' Wordz Series and headlined the MTV Free Your Mind Spoken Word Tour. He has performed his poetry on The Arsenio Hall Show, The Jon Stewart Show, MSNBC's Edgewise and Def Poetry on HBO. In 1994, Reg's "Please Don't Take My Air Jordans" was the first poetry CD released by Mercury Records. Reg is a two time Tony Award nominee, a Grammy award nominee and a Bessie Award winner for Best Book/Lyrics for "Bring In Da Noise Bring In Da Funk".

KYLE FARRELL is a percussionist and composer. He studied at Youngstown State University in Ohio and graduated with a BA in Music Therapy from The New School. He has completed multiple cross country tours with the band Point Reyes and recorded on their EP and on the albums Golden (Big School Records, 2012) and Warszawa (Cakes and Tapes, 2012). He composed and worked with the Koans and Performance Project in 2013, which performed at Meridian Gallery and CounterPULSE in San Francisco, CA. He lives in Brooklyn, where he teaches music and plays in the gamelan ensemble Son of Lion with the percussionist and instrument-builder SKIP LA PLANTE.

SKIP LA PLANTE is a composer, percussionist and instrument maker. His background is in new music and Javanese classical music. Skip performs with Bash The Trash, and the gamelan ensemble Son of Lion. He founded and also performs with Music For Homemade Instruments which is a composers' collective. His scores are distributed by Frog Peak Music.
