THE BOWERY WRITERS SALON was founded in December, 2013. We are currently a group of eight writers who meet and share work in Brooklyn, NY.

TYRONNE WILLIAMS teaches literature and theory at Xavier University in Cincinatti, Ohio. He is the author of five books of poetry, c.c. (Krupskaya Books, 2002), On Spec (Omnidawn Publishing, 2008), The Hero Project of the Century (The Backwater Press, 2009), The Adventures of Pi (Dos Madres Press, 2011) and Howell (Atelos Press, 2011). He has also published several chapbooks, including a prose, Pink Tie (Hooke Press, 2011).

IAN MCLELLAN Davis is a composer based in Brooklyn, NY. He has worked as an orchestral arranger with Feist, Daniel Rossen (of Grizzly Bear), Abigail Washburn, Fred Nicolaus (of Department of Eagles), Shara Worden (My Brightest Diamond), and more. He is a co-founder of the experimental folk group Relatives and an original member of Landlady.
