Poets for Km ² is not a festival of poetry, but is a poetry festival. This is the premise of one of the most ambitious projects of the literary scene in Madrid and this year in New York.

At one end, Poets per km ² is rooted in an eminently poetic tradition. From classical poetry to the mix of cutting edge and experimental elements, Poets per square kilometer has been building an authentic range of voices that not only mixed rhythms and styles, but also the origin of these, for their raids along many Latin American countries have opened their borders expertise and its international projections.

Poetry readings, slam, humor, music and performance are all parts of Poets for Km ², a festival that hosts alternative ways of poetic expressions. This project comes to New York for the first time after nine editions in Spain highlighting the most contemporary literary creativity on both sides of the ocean samples. An intergenerational celebration of poetry and art, Poets per km ² brings Spain Accidents Polipoètics Garlic Eduard Escoffet, Javier Gallego Raw, Josep Pedrals, Maria Salgado, Peru Saizprez and Sole Parody, which will share the stage with American poets as Urayoán Noel, John Giorno Edwin Torres, Claire Donato and Robert Fitterman.
