Join us for the first night of our new monthly Sunday evening reading series of utterly fantastic poets & writers at Bowery Poetry Club. First Sundays from 8:30 PM - 10:30 PM.

September 7th: Featuring Dorothea Lasky, Todd J. Colby, plus musical guest Nicolas Whitaker.

DOROTHEA LASKY's collections of poetry are, AWE (2007), and Black Life (2010), Thunderbird (2012), and ROME (2014) as well as several chapbooks, including Poetry Is Not a Project (2010). You may have read a poem by Dottie in the New Yorker, Paris Review, or the American Poetry Review. She is an assistant professor of poetry at Columbia University and also teaches at the Ashbery Home School.
