Join Rumi and friends for an afternoon of music and ecstatic poems translated from the original manuscipts. Athens, Georgia poet Chris Jansen worked with Fatima Saidi (a refugee from her native Afghanistan) to translate the poems of Rumi from the original manuscripts. Accompanied by musician Philip Weitzman, Jansen will read from this volume of new translations. “Chris and Fatima make a powerful pair of translators.” –Coleman Barks
