The second Wine Sludge Sunday reading features: music by Yva Las Vegas, and poetry by Max Steele, Sophia Le Fraga and Kayla Morse.

MAX STEELE ( is a performer and writer based in Brooklyn. He has presented work at the New Museum, Deitch Projects, BAM, Joe's Pub, La MAMA, Envoy Enterprises, PPOW Gallery, The Afterglow Festival in Provincetown and the Queens Museum of Art. He writes the psychedelic porno poetry zine Scorcher, and his writing has been featured in Dossier Journal, Spunk [arts] Magazine, East Village Boys, Birdsong, Vice and Best Gay Stories 2014. He was an Artist in Residence at BAX/Brooklyn Arts Exchange from 2012-2014.

KAYLA CLASSY MORSE is a writer / etc living in Brooklyn. She's read for Dictionary, Mama Said Sparkle, FagCity, Birdsong, THRUST and the Popsickle Lit fest, and you can find info about zines & publications at

YVA LAS VEGASS was born in Puerto La Cruz Venezuela on December 17th 1963. Her newest record “I was born in a place of sunshine and the smell of ripe mangoes” was released on March 13th of 2012 and was hailed as one of the 25 best albums of the year according to NPR. Yva currently lives in NYC with her rat terrier Moonie Las Vegass
