Violinist and composer Andrei Matorin leads a World-Class trio accompanied by internationally acclaimed guitarist, Rotem Sivan, and Tamir Shmerling on bass. Matorin's innovative, virtuosic approach to the violin allows him to seamlessly incorporate his love for jazz and contemporary American music with his classical background and the rhythmic sophistication of Brazil, his native country. As a leader and featured soloist, Matorin has appeared at such prestigious venues as The Lincoln Center, The MoMA, and The Kennedy Center. He has shared the stage with many of today's most influential artists and legends of jazz including Paquito D'Rivera, Rosa Passos, Claudio Roditi, Christian Scott, Tiger Okoshi and Bob Moses.
