JAMES HART III has published 5 books of poetry, most recently 'the-thirteenth ms.' on Soft Sculpture Press. His work has appeared at Past Tents Press Online anthology, Dispatch Detroit 6 and 7, 6x6 #23 Ugly Duckling Presse, theoretical writings appear (amongst others) at OutofNothing.org and at Jacket 2 [essay on Bill Berkson's Portrait and Dream]. He curates the Woodward Line Poetry Series in Detroit and is the director of white print inc, a press and avante garde collective where he lives, and is the vocalist for the Detroit-based experimental rock band le grande jeu. In 2001 he corresponded with Jacques Derrida whom expressed great interest in his work.
