NYC's Best Poetry Open Mic – This week's feature is Tony Gloeggler, with special guest host Mariam Bazeed.

TONY GLOEGGLER is a life long resident of NYC. His work has been recently published in Rattle, Paterson Literary Review, The Raleigh Review, Nerve Cowboy, The Chiron Review, Skidrow Penthouse, and his poems have been nominated for a handful of Pushcart prizes. His full length books include ONE WISH LEFT with Pavement Saw Press and THE LAST LIE with NYQ Books. Near the end of 2015 he had two new books released: a collaboration with the photographer Marco North from Bittersweet Editions, TONY COME BACK AUGUST, concerning his connection with the autistic son of an ex girlfriend and UNTIL THE LAST LIGHT LEAVES a fill length collection with NYQ Books that focuses on the same relationship and the 35 years he worked in group homes for the developmentally disabled.
