As eclectic as the city itself, The New York Quarterly Reading Series presents a variety of poetic voices from all walks of life—regardless of genre and school of thought—and geographically from across the country. Diverse and unique, the one thing these voices all have in common is that they have appeared in the pages of the New York Quarterly poetry magazine, so coming to a reading is just as exciting, unexpected, and open as turning a page in the magazine.

This month’s reading will feature:

Jenna Le Jenna Le is the author of SIX RIVERS (NYQ Books, 2011), which was a Small Press Poetry Bestseller. Her poetry, fiction, essays, book criticism, and translations have appeared in AGNI Online, Bellevue Literary Review, The Huffington Post, Massachusetts Review, Measure, Pleaides, and The Village Voice. She has won the Minnetonka Review Editor’s Prize and the Pharos Poetry Competition and been a William Carlos Williams Poetry Competition finalist.

Raymond Hammond Raymond Hammond is the editor-in-chief of the New York Quarterly Foundation. He is the author of Poetic Amusement (Athanata Arts, 2010) and works as an adjunct instructor at Keystone College. NYQ Poets Page: http://poets.nyq.org/poet/raymondhammond
