Join us for an afternoon reviving Lola Ridge’s anarcho-modernist parties. I’ll read a snippet from Anything That Burns You: A Portrait of Lola Ridge, Radical Poet and anyone caught resembling Lola Ridge, Zora Neale Hurston, Marianne Moore, William Carlos Williams, Baroness Elsa von Freytag-Loringhoven, Big Bill Haywood, Jean Toomer, Hart Crane, Edna St. Vincent Millay, Eugene O’Neill, Margaret Sanger, T.S. Eliot, or Langston Hughes may read a poem. Prohibition “tea” and cake will be served. Presented with the support of the Millay Colony for the Arts.
