I Heard The Mother of All: Music of the Shiloh Quartet

This evening’s concert will feature the premiere of composer Patrick Stoyanovich’s String Quartet “Shiloh Church.”

Selected poetry from Walt Whitman’s “Drum TAPS” and Herman Melville’s “Shiloh” will be read in conjunction with the music. Also on the program will be the Stoyanovich “Duo” for Violin and Cello.

The program will be performed by the exciting young New York based Shiloh Quartet: Sophia Stoyanovich (Violin I) Rannveig Marta Sarc (Violin II) Alaina Rea (Viola) Clara Abel (Cello) All musicians study at The Juilliard School and have been playing together since December 2015.
