An Evening of Poetry by Poets from Canada on Sunday, October 9, 2016, presented by Bowery Poetry and produced by Michele Midori Fillion/Hurry Up Sister Productions.

The first part of the evening, from 6:00 – 7:30, will feature work by award-winning poets, Michael Fraser, Catherine Graham, Maureen Scott Harris, Donna Kane, Ian LeTourneau, Jeanette Lynes and Ruth Roach Pierson.

The second part of the evening, from 8:30 – 10:00, will explore science as a vehicle for poetry, entitled, “The Sub-text of Science: a Poetry Experiment”. Poet and scientist Madhur Anand will discuss her poetry experiment, followed by readings by award-winning poets and participants in her experiment dee Hobsbawn-smith, Sonnet l’Abbé, Ruth Roach Pierson, Adam Sol, and Kevin Spenst. Poets will also read from their other works.
